7 Chamionship Players who are ready to step up to the Premier League 

Morgan Whittaker-Middlesbrough 

     Despite missing out on promotion with Middlesbrough, Morgan Whittaker has stood out as a star player in the Championship this season. He has 14 goals and 7 assists to his name and has created 43 chances, which averages at bang on a chance per game. He is is a left footed, ball carrying inverted winger who prefers to play on the right hand side. However, he also regularly drifts into midfield and acts as an advanced playmaker using his passing ability to his advantage and puts balls through for the forwards to try and get on. He will be a good asset to a Premier League team as his passing, shooting and ball skills are elite in the championship and can definitely be used in a Premier League team.

Žan Vipotnik-Swansea

   Žan Vipotnik is the Champinship's top scorer with 23 goals in 44 games which is a goal every 1.9 games. He out scores second place, Coventry's Haji Wright by 5 goals and is a lethal, orthodox, clinical finisher who has a big physical presence inside the box. He is naturally two footed and can hit sudden shots which makes it hard for goalkeepers to react. Vipotnik tends to stay away from holding the ball up for his teammates to run in, instead, he prefers to play a quick layoff with his midfielder and then gets it back and runs at goal. He would be a great asset for a newly promoted Premier League club due to his elite finishing and physical dominance which is a vital component in a good Premier League player.

Hayden Hackney-Middlesbrough 

    Being the Championship player of the season means you can't be bad and that most certainly applies to Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney. He has 5 goals and 6 assists to his name this season and was a key player in Middlesbrough's season where they lost promotion in the dying embers of the Playoff final to Hull. He is known for his ball progression. He likes to get the ball from his defenders and uses his top level ball skills to drive forward and give it to wingers or feed it through to the forwards. His next-level passing range and vision makes him crucial in the Middlesbrough as he has the ability to use short, quick passes and long, driven passes to bypass midfield and get it to the big lads up front. He has created a whopping 83 chances, which is second in the division. Hackney will be a perfect midfield player for a mid table Premier League club as his passing and ball progression go a long way and he will be able to create high quality chances for strikers to score.

Femi Azeez-Millwall

    Azeez is Millwall's main man and has 11 goals for The Lions this campaign. He has also assisted 8 goals making his goal involvements tally of 19 for the season. He is a player who sets up very wide and stays in a close proximity of the touchline. He is excellent in 1v1 situations and uses raw pace and aggression to beat his man. If he can't dribble past his opponent, he will just drop a shoulder and cut inside to try and shoot and test the opposing goalkeeper. As a wide player, he puts a heavy amount of crosses into the box and averages a cross into the box about every 10 minutes and registers 2.26 key passes per 90 making him the lighter to the Millwall attacking fuse. Femi Azezz would be a solid option for a Premier League club primarily due to his aggressive style in 1v1 situations but also his goal involvements and his high cross volume.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis-Southampton

    With Southampton being controversially expelled from the playoffs, star defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis would be perfect in a Premier League defensive line as he probably too good for the Championship. He has registered 14 clean sheets and 7 goals this season.  His strongest attribute is his ball distribution with 85% of his passes being successful, he is a set piece threat as he has 7 goals, all coming from set pieces, which are vital for Premier League clubs. To balance out his passing, he has a superb positional awareness and has a plethora of interceptions to his name. He is superior in his duels winning 60.8% of his ground duels and 58.4% of his ariel duels making him an excellent ball winner. He would fit a Premier League team well as he is a set piece threat and has elite ball distribution, which limits mistakes in defence.

Carl Rushworth-Coventry 

The Brighton loanee  has shone at the Sky Blues this season winning the Championship and Golden Glove making 17 clean sheets. He is a modern goalkeeper who has a great ability on the ball which enables his teams to play out from the back. His exceptional reflexes allow him to pull off unbelievable saves. A crucial part of his game is his box dominance, he controls his penalty area really well and will smother everything, which also aids his ariel dominance as he always catches a cross that comes in. He has made 123 saves from 164 shots making him save 74.4% of his shots which puts him in the top 3 Championship goalkeepers. There is no doubt he can play in the Premier League with his modern style and unbelievable ability to make top saves in big moments but will he be doing it Coventry, Brighton or someone else?
